About the event
Bay College will conduct a Voter Registration Drive and Political Campaign Fair, hosted by the State and Local Government class.
The voter information event will be held on Tues., Sept. 27 on the main campus in Escanaba, from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Officials from the Delta County Clerk’s office and the Escanaba City Clerk’s office will be available to register first-time voters, answer questions, and confirm voter registration for all voters. Qualified citizens may also apply for an absentee ballot.
Local political parties and specific candidate campaigns will have election information available. Some area candidates themselves will be in attendance for this opportunity to meet with students, staff, and the public. Non-partisan candidates for seats on the Bay College Board of Trustees will also be attending the event. Non-partisan voter information will be available from the Delta County League of Women Voters (LWV).
Dr. Bob Lorinser's staff will be available for questions and conversation.
