Join Dr. Bob Lorinser before, during, and after the Women's March in Traverse City at the Reproductive & Democratic Freedom Rally at the Workshop and Open Space. Events take place on Sat. Oct. 8 from 1 - 3:30 p.m.

About the event
The Reproductive Freedom and Democracy Rally, featuring Dr. Bob Lorinser for Congress, Betsy Coffia for State House District 103, Cathy Albro for State House District 104, and Barb Conley for State Senate District 37 as well as Michael Hertz, retired OBGYN, to discuss the importance of Prop 3 and will immediately follow the Women's March TC at 2:00 - 3:30 pm in Traverse City's 'Open Space' park.
Start the day at 1:00 pm with the Traverse City Women's March at the Workshop brewing, and then join us to finish off the event at the Reproductive Freedom and Democracy Rally in the Open Space.
Gather at Workshop in the morning, enjoy a beer and lunch, and thank them for all their good work and support. b We will begin our march through downtown TC at 1:00pm.
Otherwise, we will line the Parkway as usual at Union and the Parkway.
Expectations:
- STAY ON THE SIDEWALKS AND OBEY TRAFFIC LIGHTS FLOW
- MAKE ROOM FOR PEDESTRIANS
- DO NOT BLOCK DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES
- BE RESPECTFUL AND PEACEFUL
- AND FINALLY: DO NOT ENGAGE WITH COUNTER-PROTESTERS!
IF YOU SEE A TC POLICE OFFICER, SAY "THANK YOU". THEY ARE THERE TO SUPPORT US AND KEEP EVERYONE SAFE.
Our route downtown:
Garland to Union. Union to the light at W. Front. Cross on Front Street, staying on the North sidewalk to Park Street. Cross Front Street and Park to the South side of Front and reverse back until we get to the Parkway.
We will then meet at Open Space - where we will hear from local candidates running for office to protect and preserve all of our rights. After speakers, you are welcome back to the Workshop for conversations and networking.
