What I expect (and what you deserve) from a Congressman

Yes, I want his job, but right now, I wish Northern Michigan and the UP had a Representative willing to step up and talk with us as constituents. Times are precarious and we all deserve better.

We're approaching our FEC quarterly deadline and to keep operations going, we need new yard signs, literature, another staffer for scheduling, and to coverage our milage. Can you please make a contribution to the effort to unseat Jack Bergman? Join our fight at bit.ly/FundDrBob.

A good Representative would tell us about the causes 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to inflation — food, gas, and housing, not just sling misinformation to confirm biases.

He would tell hardworking Michiganders how they can retire — many don't make enough to save, don’t have a pension, social security solvency is always in jeopardy, and the amount is insufficient.

I wish my Congressman used his taxpayer-funded advertising allowance not for self-promotion but to connect displaced tornado victims to aid and services, or update us on getting affordable health and mental care resources for our families.

Tell our children, family, and friends how they will be safe when they go to school, work, or out to play. Tell us why we don't have cell phone reception and broadband in many parts of our district.

Show us where we can go to get the affordable training and education needed for a good job. Tell us exactly how he is protecting the environment so future generations can survive.

Please, Jack Bergman, explain.

We have not had a Congressional town hall since the beginning of his sophomore term. The work starts at home, and my opponent has been absent until this election and solutionless for six years. Jack Bergman had 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 and couldn't get things done. I would be honored to take over. Join our fight at bit.ly/FundDrBob
